Below is a catalogue of my recent architecture work.
+ Design Intern at Angeleno Associates
+ Zappos x UNR Summer Program
+ Northwest Career and Technical Academy(NWCTA)
At NWCTA, I specialized in engineering and design through a partnership with Project Lead the Way (PLTW). Over the four-year program, I developed skills in drafting, engineering, and design, culminating in the attainment of skills certificates in Civil Engineering, Architecture, and Engineering and Design, as well as professional experience with ideation, team work, product development, and more.
Engineering and Zappos
I was 1 of 20 students selected to participate in an engineering and design program hosted by UNR, UNLV, and Zappos.com. My team and I met with industry experts at the Nevada Department of Transportation (NDOT), the Regional Transportation Commission (RTC), and Zappos.com, where we were briefed on state-wide urban planning and transportation challenges. At the end of the program, we had the opportunity to develop and present our own solutions - our team placed 1st
Exercise - Develop a multi-floor contemporary style home and presentation of the design.
Exercise - I was tasked with redesigning a complex device in less than twenty parts. This challenge required me to refine my drafting and CAD skills and think generally and abstractly about a device and its components. I had to recreate the device while maintaining the integrity of the original machine.
